Baselios Public School was started in June-2009 by The Trust of The Society of St. Basil Baroda at the request of The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. The Trust of the Society of St. Basil is a missionary brotherhood of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. His Grace Thomas Mar Athanasios, a Bishop of the said Church, is the President of The Trust of The Society of St. Basil.
